His
art can be found in many private collections as widespread as Osaka,
Japan; Paris, France; the U.S. Embassy in New Dehli, India; and in a
Monastery in Katmandu, Nepal. Rhys has been commissioned to create a
number of commemorative awards.
EDUCATOR
Rhys Williams received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio
University in 1970 and his Master of Arts from Illinois State
University in 1972. Since then, he has taught on the faculties of Pitzer College,
Claremont, CA., Cal State Fullerton, Fullerton, CA., and Rancho
Santiago College, Santa Ana, CA. He currently teaches privately from
his own studio in Claremont.
